John Donne’s Mediation 17 was his composition when he was ill and he wrote it in fear of his death. Therefore, this work of Donne presents the idea of life and death in a beautiful ways. Two ideas that I am very attracted to are that all men are mortal and they will die which he has very well explained with the use of the bell that rings whenever someone died and the other idea is that all men are connected and related to each other and Donne has used island to explain this.
